| Yesterday I wore a skirt.
Apparently this is quite a startling event - I got quite a few strange
looks as I walked around on campus. I also noticed that virtually no
other people were wearing skirts. This quite saddens me. Why don't more people wear skirts? Girls AND guys should wear skirts. Particularly guys. There's absolutely no logical reason for a guy to wear pants. Allow me to be blunt - a guy has dangly bits between his legs. Crushing the dangly bits with pants is very unhealthy. As well as being more uncomfortable, making nether regions less hygenic, and raising the risk of infection, wearing tight clothing around the crotch (like pants) can reduce sperm count. So instead of having 40 million little swimmers in your semen, you might have like, a mere 20 million! O: Which does get serious when you start thinking about how many of those swimmers utterly fail in their single life mission. The same things apply to girls (aside from the sperm count thing, except in unusual cases). Why aren't girls wearing skirts more? Didn't girls use to wear skirts all the time? Pants can be very cool (I do wear pants most of the time, despite my words), but what happened to skirts? And seriously, what about male skirts? I believe it was the Persians who wore skirts and then laughed after they destroyed an army, saying, "What would you expect from men who wear PANTS?" There are many beautiful (handsome? fine? fashionable?) skirts designed for men. If you're male, start wearing one! Enjoy increased comfort and make it more socially acceptable so eventually all guys (and girls) feel comfortable wearing skirts.
